Description (last modified by sjs25) (diff)

When I make a request for a url of  http://<myip>:12345//metainfo, it doesn't work, whereas with  http://<myip>:12345/metainfo, it does work. I instead get a message of "Error on parsing the http request header url: Given ". There is no given because urlparse inside of the '_registerhttpcallback_parse_httpheader_url' function returns a dictionary with an empty string.

I'm making this ticket invalid because I can't seem to produce the same results I had before. It seems like '//' at the beginning of a file might not be a requirement for this code. I will investigate it further, and if I find that this ticket is necessary, I will reopen it.
